Asthma

In the state of Hawai’i, the prevalence of asthma among Native Hawaiian elders is 5.8% (Florentina et al., 2001-2003 -b), which falls within the US prevalence range of 4-10% for asthma among the elderly (Arif, Rohrer, & Delclos, 2005).
